Have you ever been to a golf tournament? If not, you should take the time to go! They are extremely fun and very different than your average sporting event. Golf tournaments seem very boring to the average person that is used to watching basketball or football. Football and basketball are definitely faster pace than golf. But little do people know, there is so much skill that goes into golf. Just ask golf extraordinaire, Tiger Woods. Tiger has made golf the trendiest sport in America. Everyone wants to get in on the act. Everyone wants to know what it’s all about. Well that’s why you should take time to find out about golf and experience whatever else is saying about it.
Golf tournaments can be fun to participate in if you are a semi-experienced golfer. One great feature of the tournament is all the golf prizes and golf gifts you can get for participating. The best golf gift of them all is the hole-in-one insurance. Hole-in-one insurance is great because if you hit a hole-in-one, you can win a fabulous prize. Golf prizes can range from a variety of things such as golf tournament merchandise like t-shirts, hats, gloves, tees and anything else that would help a golfer look his/her best on the range. They even have tournament tea bags! Yes, tournament tea bags so while you sip you tea, you can remember the tournament you’re participating in! Golf tournament merchandise is the best golf prize to get because it will show your participation in the event and will create lasting memories of your experience golfing.
Have you ever golfed before? No? Then seek to take lessons at your nearest driving range. Golf is a great sport to take up because you can use all kinds of muscles in your body. Notice how many golfers are extremely fit and trim? That’s because they have to use so many muscles in their body to create the perfect swing and to make sure their game is great. Many golf pros workout daily and focus on their arm and back muscles, all muscles used in making sure they have a great swing.
Golfing is a wonderful past-time and if you have not watched a golf tournament on TV, please do yourself a favor and watch. There’s probably a range very close to your home! Who knows, you may just be the next Tiger!

How is a mere mortal man supposed to decide if fishing or golf is more enjoyable past time???

I am in sales and many people have asked me how I get away with out being a golfer.
Business golf games are rarely memorable (unless you get the big contract signed!), but take a client fishing and you will give them a memory that lasts forever!! I still have clients that I took fishing 10 years ago sending me notes about a recent fish they caught.
Add to that the fact a greens fee at a good course, which is gone in a day, is equivalent to a decent rod or reel, which will last a lifetime!!

Easy question! Fish taste better and are easier to clean than golf balls. No matter how long I boil them they still taste like rubber and they are a pain in the butt to skin.

Pretty easy for me. I golf when I have the money and I fish when I don’t. (Nice to have wife who enjoys both with me.) As it turns out, I golf about 40 weeks out of a year and fish the other 12. Can’t go wrong!

It’s all personal preference.
Golf is fun, but you can always have a bad/frustrating day on the course.
Fishing is also fun, but you can always have a bad/frustrating day on the water.
You can hit a great shot that you’ll remember for a lifetime – or – you can catch a nice fish that you’ll remember for a life time.
You can take a group of friends to play golf and make memories that’ll last a lifetime – or – do the same fishing.
So, as far as deciding which is more enjoyable, you’re going to have to speak to some sort of divine power.
As far as advice goes – I have some 2 piece rods that I take to the golf course with me. When we’re on the water holes, we’ll fish for about 30 minutes, let people play through, and have a blast. Also, usually these golf course ponds don’t get fished too awful much, keep this in mind because they tend to be easy to catch fish in.

A mere mortal man would be wise enough to know that fishing and golfing are both very pleasurable and that this mere mortal man has the wonderful ability and free will to choose whatever he wishes to do. The beauty of life!
Also, this mere mortal man would (of course) know that his options are not only between golf and fishing but so many other outdoor activities that he has yet discovered!
